Accessibility statement

Accessibility statement

1. Our commitment

Salonfoto (Salon Fotograficzny, al. Niepodległości 87/37, 43-100 Tychy, Poland) is committed to making its online services accessible in accordance with the Polish Act of 26 April 2024 on ensuring that certain products and services meet accessibility requirements (Journal of Laws 2024, item 731), which implements Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the European Accessibility Act).

This statement covers two services: the website salonfoto.com with its online shop (information about the studio, blog, legal documents, shop with cart and checkout) and the application wyslij.salonfoto.com, where you can upload photos, configure and order prints, book a photo session and manage your account. Both are available in Polish, English, German and Ukrainian.

2. Conformance status

The services are conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA (standard EN 301 549).

3. Non-accessible content

No non-accessible content has been identified. The most recent accessibility review (self-assessment of 15 October 2026) found no content that fails the WCAG 2.2 Level AA requirements; this includes the PDF documents published on the “Returns policy” page.

If you nevertheless encounter a barrier, please let us know (section 6). We look into every report and remove its cause in the next update of the service.

4. Accessibility features

The services provide, among other things:

  • a “Skip to content” link at the start of every page,
  • a “Pause animations” button next to the slide numbers at the top of the home page and in the footer of every page of salonfoto.com, which stops the slider and the scrolling logo strips; the choice is remembered, and when reduced motion is set in the operating system the animations are paused from the start,
  • full keyboard operation with a visible focus indicator,
  • a layout that adapts to a width of 320 px and to 200% zoom without loss of content,
  • in the application: a light and a dark theme, buttons for moving the photo in the crop editor (an alternative to dragging), labels, hints and error messages linked to form fields, and status messages announced by screen readers.

5. Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 15 October 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment carried out by Salonfoto. The assessment comprised automated tests (axe-core) and manual tests of keyboard operation, zoom, text spacing and reduced motion on a sample of 47 pages and views of both services, as well as a review of the application’s source code. No tests with screen readers were carried out.

A detailed conformance report (Accessibility Conformance Report in the VPAT 2.5 format, WCAG 2.2 and EN 301 549) is available on request.
